A recent update to cPanel introduced what the cPanel developers call User Analytics ID, which appears in the right-hand margin after logging in to cPanel:
The idea behind this is to allow cPanel developers to collect analytical data on the use of the cPanel and its various features.
We consider this an invasion of privacy and have therefore decided to disable data collection globally on all our web hosting account servers:
Even if we have turned off data collection, the User Analytics ID will be visible within cPanel.
