Sometimes you wish to suspend a cPanel account you’ve created via WHM (without deleting it completely), e.g. if the client using the account have failed to pay an invoice. To temporarily suspend a cPanel account created via your WHM account, follow these steps:
- Begin by logging on to WHM.
- Search for the option
Manage Account Suspension
in the menu to the left. - Search for the account you wish to suspend in either of the two lists (via mail domain in the leftmost list, or via username in the rightmost one).
- If you want to, you can enter a reason as to why you’ve suspended the account in the text field next to
Reason
(for example a memory note regarding when the account was suspended). Then click theSuspend
button.
