How do I delete a cPanel account via WHM?

Den här artikeln finns även på: Svenska

Sometimes you may want to delete cPanel accounts created on your Managed Server or your Agency service. This might be the case if you’ve ended a contract with a client that has had a website on your service. This guide will describe the process of deleting a cPanel account via WHM.

Keep in mind that you can suspend a cPanel account temporarily if you’re not quite ready to delete it. We describe that process here.

  1. Begin by logging on to WHM.
  2. Find the option Terminate Accounts in the menu to the left.
  3. You will now see a list of the cPanel accounts that have been created under your WHM account.
In the list, tick the checkbox to the left of each cPanel account you wish to delete.
  4. Use the checkbox under Keep DNS Zones to save all DNS records for all domains on the soon-to-be-deleted accounts in our DNS servers. This feature should only be used under very specific circumstances, e.g. in the case where domains on the account are already added to another active service with us.
  5. Once you’ve selected the accounts you wish to delete, click Remove selected accounts.
