How does the affiliate program work at Oderland?

How do I become a partner/affiliate?

To become an Oderland partner, you must first have a client account. If you do not already have one, you can register a new one free of charge. You also need an F-tax certificate (company). If you represent a company based in the EU and you have a valid VAT number, you are also welcome to join the partner program.

Please note that the F-tax certificate must be issued to a company you represent yourself. The use of self-employment companies is not allowed in the affiliate program.

Submit your partner application to us. We process all applications manually and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Collecting commission

To collect commissions, be sure to share your unique affiliate link with everyone you want to tell about us. Every time someone places an order with us after surfing to our website via your link, the order will be linked to your partner account with us and you can start receiving kickback on invoices paid by the customer (not applicable to start-up fees, domain names, Oderland Cloud, or upgrade orders).

When people visit our website via your partner link, a cookie is set in their browser that keeps track of the use of your link – so make sure that the person you refer to us has not turned off cookies in their browser.

Please note that in some cases we may need to contact your customer to verify the link to your partner account.

Keep in mind that your affiliate link must be used every time someone places an order (as you get kickback on orders created via the link). So it is not enough for a client to register their account via your link for you to receive kickbacks on future orders.

If you advise someone to become a client and they register a test account that is then upgraded, the kickback will be calculated from the first regular invoice – not for the upgrade invoice where the client goes from a test account to a actual account. Therefore, to get the maximum kickback, make sure the client registers an actual account right away.

Accrued commission automatically expires 13 months after the date of accrual, so be sure to request payment to credit or invoice us within that timeframe. See below for more information.

Monthly reports

At the beginning of each month you will receive an email with a report on the status of your partner account with us. It shows you which new services have been created via your partner link and a summary of the total amount paid to you.

Claiming commission

To claim the commission, do the following:

  1. Begin by logging on to the Client Area.
  2. Then click Affiliates under Account in the menu to the left.
  3. On the page you land on, you will see a current figure of your commission balance (at Available commissions balance).
  4. If you want to invoice us for the available commission (and have it paid into your bank account), start by clicking on the Withdrawal tab.
  5. Then click on the Collect commission button.
  6. A message is now automatically sent to our finance department, which will get back to you.
