The calendar in App Suite can be shared between any device (phone, tablet, computer) as long as the device supports CalDAV. Outlook and Android, for example, do not have built-in support for CalDAV, so to make it work you need to install additional software that handles the synchronisation.
To synchronise your calendar, do the following:
- Begin by logging on to App Suite.
- Then click the three by three boxes button at the top left and select
Calendar
. - Next, locate the calendar you want to sync on the left and click on it. Then click the button with three horizontal lines just to the right of the calendar’s name and then click
Properties
. - The link you need to enter in your CalDAV client is the one in the
CalDAV URL
field. - You then use the CalDAV URL when configuring your calendar application. Unfortunately, we cannot provide support on how to configure CalDAV in your particular client, but here are some tips on good clients for different platforms:
- Android: DAVx
- iOS: Has built-in support for CalDAV
- MacOS: Has built-in support for CalDAV
- Outlook (Windows): Caldavsyncronizer
- Thunderbird: Has built-in support for CalDAV
