In general, no technical aspects are affected when an ownership transfer is done, i.e.<\/em> operations regarding email, websites, and\/or domains are not affected. A transfer of ownership is a solely administrative change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a domain name is sold, a service gets a new owner, or a company is reformed, a change of ownership is needed. A rule of thumb is that if a change in personal or organisation number is needed, a transfer of ownership has to be done. This guide collects information regarding ownership transfers for different services\/domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All ownership transfers require that both parties have a customer account with us. If the new owner does not yet have client account with us, a new one can be registered here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Domains<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For ownership transfers where a form or manual handling is required, we will charge an administrative fee of SEK 500, plus SEK 25 per domain entered on the form (all prices listed excluding VAT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

.se and .nu domains<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

.fi domains<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

.fr domains<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you want to change the owner of a .fr domain name, you need to fill out a transfer form and email it to us. The form is available for download at the end of this article. When you have filled out the form you can scan it or take a picture of it and send it to support@oderland.se<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other TLDs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To transfer ownership of domains using other TLDs, first, update the whois information for the domain<\/a> so it matches the information on the new owner’s client account. If the new owner doesn’t have a client account yet, one can be registered here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once this is done, send an email to support@oderland.se<\/a> with a list of the domains that should be transferred, and to which client account they should be transferred. Keep in mind that the email must be sent from the email address registered on the current owner’s client account so we can verify the request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To transfer services like a web hosting account or a VPS you need to send an email to support@oderland.se <\/a>and list exactly which services are to be transferred. Remember that you need to email us from the same email address that is registered on your customer account so we know that the account owner is requesting the transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Below you will find the transfer forms. There is the transfer form itself, plus an appendix that can be used if you can not fit all the domains on the transfer form. The transfer form is mandatory but the appendix is optional (and should only be used if there isn’t enough space on the transfer form).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
