Once the service has expired and you no longer want to use it, follow the steps below to remove the settings you made when you set up the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disconnecting your website<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Disconnect the API or SMTP connection to your website or application. Consider replacing with another option so that your website or application can still send messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deleting DNS records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you set up the service, you created three DNS records that you now need to delete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A TXT pointer with a signing key. You will recognise it by it containing <code>postal-verification<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A CNAME record with the name <code>psrp<\/code> and the data <code>rp.postal.oderland.com<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit your SPF record and remove <code>include:_spf.postal.oderland.com<\/code> from it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you don&#8217;t want to use Postal anymore, start by submitting a cancellation to our Client Area.
