Usually, there&#8217;s no problem if a payment arrives to us a few days late. In this article, we&#8217;ll detail a bit about our invoicing routines, and how we handle late and\/or missing payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to our <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oderland.com\/about-us\/terms-and-policies\/terms-of-use\/\" target=\"_blank\">terms of use<\/a>, we invoice the majority of our services in advance. This means, that when the period you&#8217;ve paid for is nearing its end, you&#8217;ll be invoiced automatically for the upcoming period. With this arrangement, you and we do not need to worry about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oderland.se\/support\/en\/artikel\/do-you-use-binding-periods\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">binding periods<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">If you don&#8217;t wish to renew your service, please <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oderland.se\/support\/en\/artikel\/how-do-i-cancel-my-services-and-domains\/\" target=\"_blank\">cancel it<\/a>. If we receive a cancellation request, the invoice will be automatically cancelled, and you will not get any reminders regarding the invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reminders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">We don&#8217;t add any late fees to overdue invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When an invoice is sent out, its due date will be stated on the invoice itself, both in the email message and in the attached .pdf file. If we haven&#8217;t registered the invoice as paid by the due date, we will send out reminders via email accordingly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The first reminder is sent out 4 days after the invoice&#8217;s due date.<\/li><li>If the invoice remains unpaid, a second reminder will be sent out 6 days after the invoice&#8217;s due date.<\/li><li>A third reminder will be sent out 11 days after the invoice&#8217;s due date if it remains unpaid.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When a total of 12 days after the due date of the invoice have passed, the service will be suspended if we still hasn&#8217;t received payment. The service will remain suspended for a period of time regulated by our <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oderland.com\/about-us\/terms-and-policies\/terms-of-use\/\" target=\"_blank\">terms of use<\/a> before it&#8217;s finally deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">If you know that your payment will reach us late, please <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oderland.se\/support\/en\/contact-us\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"7188\" target=\"_blank\">contact us<\/a> and we&#8217;ll see what we can do to avoid that your service is suspended while we await the payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are aware of that we send out quite a few reminders within a short period of time. This is to make sure that our client is notified that the invoice is unpaid. For many clients, it&#8217;s devastating if a service is suspended, and hopefully the client will notice at least one of the reminders before it&#8217;s too late. Regardless of day of the week, it&#8217;s possible to pay our invoices in multiple ways where the payment is registered immediatelly. We list our available payment methods <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oderland.se\/support\/en\/artikel\/how-may-i-pay-invoices-from-you\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Invoices regarding domain renewals are always sent out so you have quite a margin to renew the domain even if the payment is registered late (within reasonable limits). Most often, the invoice&#8217;s due date will be 30 days before the domain&#8217;s expiry date, so you have an additional month to pay the invoice even after it&#8217;s due.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-danger\">If you don&#8217;t pay an invoice regarding domain renewal, you may lose the domain name.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everyone can miss an invoice, especially if it&#8217;s received by an email address that often get a lot of messages.
