The document root is the folder where all files and folders belonging to the domain (and consequently, its website) is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since you can add an unlimited number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oderland.se\/support\/en\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=4526\" data-type=\"ht_kb\" data-id=\"4526\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">additional domains<\/a> (and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oderland.se\/support\/en\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=12820\" data-type=\"ht_kb\" data-id=\"12820\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">subdomains<\/a>) on a web hosting account, it can easily become a bit messy if you&#8217;ve not had a specific structure from the very beginning.
