Our Managed Servers also support Elastic Scaling<\/a>, i.e.<\/em> temporary upgrades of resources. If you want to temporarily give your server more CPU and memory, use this form<\/a>. Please note that the minimum upgrade period is 7 days for temporary upgrades.<\/strong> If you want to upgrade permanently, follow the instructions in this guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes you need to adjust the resources on your Managed Server<\/a>. Perhaps you’ve outgrown the current setup and need more power, or you’ve scaled down your business and want something less. Upgrading\/downgrading your server this way is no problem, and this guide will walk you through the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have an unpaid invoice for your service it must be paid before you can order upgrades\/downgrades to your server’s resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To upgrade\/downgrade your Managed Server, you need to log on to the Client area<\/a>. Once there, you can order upgrades\/downgrades by following these instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click Managed Server<\/code> under Services<\/code> in the menu to the left.

  2. Then click View<\/code> to the right of the Managed Server you want to upgrade\/downgrade.

  3. Finally, click the tab Management actions<\/code> and Upgrade options<\/code>.

  4. Now, make selections what resources you wish to modify, and once you’re done – click Click to continue<\/code>.
