How do I upgrade/downgrade my Agency service?

If you have the service Agency Premium, please refer to these instructions regarding upgrades/downgrades.

Sometimes you need to upgrade your Agency service, if you e.g. have gotten many new clients recently and the resources included in the service therefore run out. In the same way, if you wish to scale down your account, this can be done as easily, e.g. if you have lost/removed clients and want the service to be a bit cheaper. In this guide, we describe how you upgrade/downgrade your Agency service.

Please keep in mind that you cannot upgrade an Agency Standard account to contain more than 50 subaccounts. If you need more than that, you need to either order another Agency Standard account, or rather consider a Managed Server/Agency Premium service.

  1. Begin by logging on to the Client area on our website.
  2. Click Agency under Services in the menu to the left.
  3. Then click View to the right of the Agency service you wish to upgrade/downgrade.
  4. Finally, click the Management actions tab and then Upgrade options.
  5. You will now get to adjust the resources for your Agency account. Click Click to continue once you’re done.
  6. If you order an upgrade: As soon as we have received payment on the upgrade invoice, your service will be upgraded automatically.

Extra PHP processes gained when adding more RAM, CPU, and/or cPanel accounts:
RAM: 8 extra processes per GB added.
CPU cores: 16 extra processes per core added.
cPanel accounts: 2 extra processes per cPanel account added.
